I really like this pillow I made at Christmastime.  It was really difficult to hide it from my hubby while I was making it. He kept on walking over to me at the sewing machine.  I had to pull it of the machine and hide it under the table so he would not see.  I added a little polyester fiberfill to the trees to make them puffy.

Planning for Christmas

Phase 1: Christmas and Fall Planning and Designing I have been looking through all my craft supplies and craft instruction books for ideas.  This is the time of year I stock up on Christmas supplies.  I went to the craft store and bought a sepia Ranger Ink pad for stamping fall leaves onto a teeshirt. I also purchased little wreath forms for small fabric scrap wreaths.  These are so fun to make: You need a 2 by 5 inch strip and you just tie them on, use four different fabrics and tie them at intervals: I tied mine starting at the center where the little separator bars are and then you fill in color from there: I have all my edges facing right.  You might want to use quilting fabric or fat quarters because less quality fabric will fray and you will be covered with little lint pieces like I was. I decided that I would save some money and use the cardstock I have to fold my own greeting card bases but if I run short on time I may opt to by premade bland cards. I sorted my Christmas card
